Follow-up of HEI audits
A follow‑up procedure is included in FINEEC’s audits of higher education institutions (HEIs) in accordance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG, 2015),
Each year, the HEIs that were audited three years earlier participate in the follow‑up procedure. The purpose of the procedure is for the HEI to report on and receive collegial feedback regarding its improvement actions taken after the audit. The follow‑up report also collects information on the effects of the audit.
The audit follow‑up includes:
- submission of a follow‑up report to FINEEC, and
- a presentation of the HEI’s own improvement actions as well as providing collegial feedback to another HEI at FINEEC’s quality seminar.
The deadline for the follow‑up report is in September. The exact date will be communicated to the reporting HEIs during the spring. The quality seminar is usually organised in autumn.
